This advanced duck jibe variation enters from heelside and exits on toeside — the opposite of the standard version. It requires a different arm motion for the duck and a toeside landing, which is technically harder to balance. But mastering this variant gives you full directional flexibility and a key building block for linking tricks.
The arm motion is reversed from the standard duck jibe — the wing passes on the other side of your body
Anticipate the toeside landing: shift your weight to the toes early, before you've completed the turn
This variant needs more speed than a regular duck jibe — the toeside exit position is less stable
Approach it from a solid standard duck jibe base — don't attempt this without the basic version dialled in
