Gusty was born from something many wingers recognise: the feeling that there is so much left to discover.
We love windsurfing. We love kiting and surfing. Many of us have been doing this for years, started at some point and never stopped. Those sports brought us to where we are today: on the water (and on the beach), with friends who share these passions. We try to do the same with this platform. Wing foiling (and parafoiling) has added something to that. It has made the world a little bigger. Where windsurfing wants a lot of wind, and kiting needs space, wing foiling works practically anywhere. Even with offshore wind. On that inland lake, that bay with clean waves, that small stretch of water that was always there but never appeared on any map. Places we never thought possible, with just a light breeze — or in thick conditions. And honestly: we're nowhere near done. Building this platform makes us more and more excited, because we see just how big the world really is and how much there is still to discover.
We've made a start, and we try to make it as easy as possible for you. Check the forecasts last minute and head out for a few days, plan a trip to a spot that's been on your list for a year — or discover that new place you hadn't even thought of. But we'll be honest: here and there the info might not be completely right yet. We've been to quite a few places, but you as a local often know it much better than we do.
