A tweaked jump means grabbing the board in the air and pulling it out of its natural position — sideways, indy, stalefish, whatever grab you choose. The tweak adds style to any jump and requires enough airtime to reach down, grab, pull, and release before landing. Start with low tweaks and work up to more extreme positions.
You need good airtime to tweak — get your basic jump height consistent before adding the grab
The grab happens at peak height — reach for the board as you hit the top of the arc
Pull the board toward you with the grab hand while pushing the opposite direction with your legs for the tweak effect
Release the grab early enough to get both hands back on the wing for the landing
