The backside 360 handlepass adds a boom or handle pass behind your back during the rotation — the wing transitions from hand to hand behind your body while you're spinning. It's one of the most technically demanding manoeuvres in wingfoil freestyle, combining a backside rotation with a blind handle pass that requires exceptional spatial awareness.
The handlepass happens at the halfway point of the rotation — practice the pass motion on the beach first
You must be fully confident with a clean backside 360 before adding the handlepass
The pass hand needs to meet the wing precisely — a centimetre off and you drop it
Commit to the pass: a hesitant handlepass mid-rotation is always a crash
