The backside 360 is a full horizontal rotation in the backside direction — your back leads the rotation rather than your chest. This is the opposite rotational direction to the frontside 360 and requires a completely different muscle and body coordination pattern. Most riders find one direction significantly easier than the other.
The rotation is initiated by throwing the back shoulder — think about looking backward and up as you launch
The wing transition during the backside rotation is more complex — it needs to move over your head in the opposite direction
Don't compare your progress to frontside — backside is a different skill that needs its own learning curve
Start with small backside 360s (lower height) to dial in the rotation before building height
