The toeside jump is performed from a toeside riding position, which gives you a different angle of attack and approach to the kicker. The toeside approach often results in a slightly different board angle in the air. It's a stepping stone to toeside-specific tricks and helps build overall jump confidence from both foot positions.
Approach from a stable toeside position — don't transition to toeside at the last moment before the jump
The wing power-up timing is the same as heelside jumps; the foot position is what changes
Landing a toeside jump typically means landing toeside too — be prepared for that balance requirement
Practice toeside riding to the point of comfort before adding the jump element
