The frontside 360 is the benchmark aerial trick — a full horizontal rotation (like a flat spin) performed in the air. Unlike a frontloop or backloop which rotate vertically, the 360 rotates around the vertical axis. It requires good airtime, a committed rotation, and precise wing handling on the way down. The Melon Grab variation (grabbing the heelside rail) makes it cleaner and more stylish.
Approach with maximum speed on a beam reach — no speed means no air, no air means no rotation
Power the wing hard as you launch, then let it go overhead and follow your spin
Look where you're rotating to — spot the landing halfway through the spin
The landing is the hardest part: re-power the wing just before landing to avoid crashing on touchdown
