Wingfoil · Duotone Wing Academy
The frontloop is a forward somersault performed in the air. You leave the water, tuck your knees to your chest, and rotate forward until you come back to riding position. In kitesurfing it's a classic big air move; in wingfoil it requires careful wing management while rotating. Waves help because they provide more airtime.
Commit completely — a half-hearted frontloop lands on your head; only full commitment produces a clean landing
Pull your knees to your chest immediately at takeoff to initiate the rotation and speed it up
The wing needs to be relatively neutral during the rotation — too much power stops the spin
Spot the landing early — as you complete the rotation, look for the water and get ready to land
