Wingfoil · Duotone Wing Academy
The back-to-wing airjibe extends the standard frontside airjibe by passing through the back-to-wing position at peak height before completing the 180° and landing. This gives the trick a more dramatic, fully rotated appearance and requires a faster, more committed rotation. It's one step toward full 360° aerial tricks.
The back-to-wing moment is brief — it should be a pass-through, not a pause
Rotate quickly: slow rotation in the air gives the foil time to stall and you'll land badly
The wing flip and landing timing need to be tighter than a standard airjibe — the extra rotation takes more time
If you're struggling, go back to standard airjibes and work on increasing rotation speed
