Right in front of Lanzarote airport, Playa Honda is one of the easiest wing foil spots on the island. Large parking, easy beach access, and flat water make it perfect for progressing from lagoon sessions into open sea riding. Best with north easterly to south easterly wind. If you drift downwind, simply walk back up the beach and head out again. Easy, safe, and ideal for building confidence.

Local tips
Best wind arrives in the afternoon from around 1pm, NE to SE direction. The beach stretches for several kilometres giving plenty of space and easy downwind returns. Flat to light chop makes it excellent for longer upwind and downwind runs as you progress. Large car park right on the beach. Easy access from Arrecife, about 10 minutes. Multiple beach bars along the strip for post session food and drinks.
