Playa de A Lanzada

A Lanzada is a spectacular 2.5 kilometre Atlantic beach on the Rías Baixas coast of Galicia, shared between O Grove and Sanxenxo. Consistent northeast sea breezes in summer produce lively chop and manageable rolling waves on a wide sandy shore. The beach faces northwest into open ocean fetch, delivering genuine power for foiling alongside an impressive backdrop of Galician estuaries and green hills. One of the best wingfoil spots in the northwest of Spain. With west south west winds the nearby beach of Mexiloeira is great too.
