Castelldefels is the go-to wingfoil beach for Barcelona riders — just 30 minutes south of the city by train. The dominant southwest Garbi wind blows side shore from spring through early summer, generating steady thermal breezes over warm Mediterranean chop. Eight kilometres of fine sand give wingfoilers a generous setup zone, and flat water close to shore is excellent for learning to foil in the light to moderate conditions typical of March through May.
