Torre delle Stelle is a sheltered granite bay on Sardinia's southeast coast, roughly thirty kilometres from Cagliari. A reliable afternoon sea breeze arrives from the south each summer day, building to solid wingfoil strength by noon. The water stays flat to light chop with a sandy bottom and extraordinary clarity. Beautifully uncrowded compared to northwest Sardinia, this raw and scenic bay is one of the island's best undiscovered wingfoil spots.
“Best wind arrives June through September, building after 12:00 and holding until early evening. The bay is relatively small so arrive early on weekends to claim rigging space. A short drive south to Villasimius opens up more spots and the best food in the area.”
