Lago d'Idro

Lago d'Idro is a narrow Alpine lake in the Valle Sabbia north of Brescia. The Ander — a thermal southerly — arrives each afternoon from midday, while northerly winds bring variety in cooler months. The lake has strict zoning: kiting is permitted only at the far northern end near Feeling Beach Bar.

Local tips
Kite only at Feeling Beach Bar / Ponte Caffaro in the north (day pass €5 or annual €25). Windsurf and wing can launch at Camping Miralago (centre) or Vantone/Anfo area (south). Do not attempt to kite from any other part of the lake.
