Chia is one of the most compelling wingfoil and kitefoil destinations you'll find — thermal westerlies, a technical setup, and conditions that keep you on your toes. The wind here is irregular and gusty by nature, so it suits intermediate and advanced riders best.

Local tips
Main wingfoil zones are Chia beach and the Su Giudeu lagoon area. Maestrale from the NW is strongest April through June and again in September and October. Summer shifts to lighter thermal sea breeze, still rideable on smaller kit. The area is a nature reserve so park responsibly and stay clear of the flamingo nesting zones.
