The southern tip of Rhodes does something most spots cannot. Meltemi funnels hard around the peninsula and splits into two completely different setups side by side. The lagoon is flat and offshore for freestyle and foiling. Walk 50 metres east and you get proper swell and cross-onshore surf. June through October, 20 to 30 knots almost every day. Three schools on site. One of Greece's real gems.

Local tips
Walk the narrowing spit to check both sides before rigging. Three centres operate on site in summer so arrive early for the best launch zone. The lagoon is shared with windsurfers so stay aware of other users. Accommodation is available on site and the nearest town, Kattavia, is 10 kilometres north.
