The west coast of Limnos at its most raw. Greece's longest sand dunes back a wide open beach where the northwest Meltemi arrives unchecked and regularly hits 25 to 35 knots from June through September. Proper wave days push past two metres and this is a place for riders who can handle power. No facilities on site and the road in is rough. Bring everything you need and come prepared.
“Get there early and scope the conditions from the dune ridge before committing to a session. Wind is consistently stronger here than at Keros Bay and on big Meltemi days the bay becomes genuinely challenging. Access is via a rough dirt track. No facilities at all. Bring water, food, a fully charged phone, and a means of self-rescue. For experienced riders only.”
