The thermal at Vasiliki turns up without fail. The bay at the southern tip of Lefkada catches a sea breeze from the south and southwest, building from noon and peaking around 15 to 30 knots by mid afternoon. Protected flat water, sandy beach, and a clean setup for all levels. Wingfoil and windsurf only, kiting is not allowed. A proper windsport venue that has hosted international competitions for decades.

Local tips
The bay is shared exclusively with windsurfers. No kitesurfing. Wind builds from noon and peaks around 15h to 17h so arrivals before noon allow for a relaxed launch. The village of Vasiliki is walking distance with tavernas and accommodation. Several certified schools operate on the beach. International competitions have used this venue for decades.
