Northwest Meltemi squeezes between Kos and two offshore islands, arriving at Golden Beach 3 to 5 knots stronger than the general forecast. This jet effect makes Marmari one of the most reliable spots on the island, running 20 to 30 knots side shore from June through October. Long sandy beach, gentle entry, and a beach club on site. Good for families and proper for freeriding when the Meltemi is in full swing.
