Only two hours from Athens by car, Great Sand Beach on the southwest coast of Evia is one of the stronger wind spots in mainland Greece. Venturi compression through the Aegean channel combined with afternoon thermal regularly adds 5 to 10 knots above the forecast. 20 to 45 knots from June through September is typical. No school or rental on site. Bring your own kit and come prepared for power.
