Crete – Kouremenos Beach

Kouremenos, Crete, Greece

About this spot

The east coast of Crete is the part most visitors never reach, and Kouremenos is one of its best uncovered gems. Northwest to north Meltemi runs at 20 to 35 knots from June through September, consistently and strong. Flat to chop inshore with waves further out. Fewer crowds than the western beaches, proper wind, and a raw coastal feel. A real find for riders who like their sessions without an audience.
