Lac de Vouglans is France's third-largest artificial reservoir, stretching 32 km through the Jura gorges south of Lons-le-Saunier. The Bise (N) blows regularly to 25 knots, while a strong southerly adds gusty variety. The Club de Voile de Vouglans at Bellecin offers windsurf and wing tuition and hire.
