September and October are prime as summer crowds thin and big swells fill in. This is where skills get tested.

“The WSL Pro CT contest runs here every autumn, making October weekends very crowded. Go early or late in the day for breathing room in the lineup. East winds are your friend: they clean up the peaks and create ideal wing conditions. Les Culs Nus and La Nord are the most consistent peaks. Water stays warm through October but drops fast from November. Full suit from November through April.”
