Portland Harbour near Weymouth is one of the UK's premier flat water wingfoil arenas, sheltered behind the towering pebble ridge of Chesil Beach. The 20 metre high beach bank absorbs ocean swell and leaves the inner harbour almost perfectly flat even in strong southwest and westerly winds — ideal for high speed foiling and freestyle. Silky smooth conditions year round make this a go-to spot for progression when the Atlantic coast is too rough.
