Silky smooth conditions year round make this a go-to spot for progression when the Atlantic coast is too rough.

Local tips
A day permit is required to launch from Ferrybridge. Self rescue competency is mandatory as the prevailing southwest is offshore. Watch for strong tidal currents on the ebb, especially near the harbour entrance.
