About this spot
Gwithian is a sweeping golden sand beach stretching several kilometres along St Ives Bay on the north Cornish coast, close to Hayle. North and northwest Atlantic swells combine with consistent coastal winds to deliver exhilarating wingfoil sessions with real wave riding potential. The beach works across a wide range of directions from southwest through to northeast, offering flexibility year round and spectacular scenery above dramatic Cornish cliffs. One of the UK's best all-round wingfoil setups.
