The Zugersee near Zug is a deep Alpine lake that comes alive in strong W, NW, and Föhn (S) conditions. Only one usable launch exists — Brüggli strand — and the spot only delivers when the wind is genuinely strong, typically 5–6 Bft. W wind can be gusty.

Launch from Brüggli strand, Chamer Fussweg 36, Zug. The spot works only in strong conditions — don't bother heading out in light wind. W wind is gusty up to 6 Bft; Föhn from the south can be powerful and variable. Check forecasts carefully.
