Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) is the largest Alpine lake in Europe, stretching 73 km along the Swiss–French border. Several kite zones are designated along the shore, with Vengeron near Geneva being the most established. NW and W winds produce good chop across the open water for experienced riders.

Local tips
Vengeron strand in Geneva is the best-known kite spot on the NW shore. Prangins/Nyon and Préverenges are active further along. Winds are irregular — strong NW days can arrive with little warning. Year-round access, though winter sessions are cold.
