Scarborough is a quiet village beach on Cape Town's southern peninsula where a white sandy bay sits between rocky headlands. The spot fires best is SE winds and produces hollow waves, not for the faint hearted. Riders can also access the nearby Misty Cliffs wave, one of the Western Cape's most intense and technical breaks. Its a full on wave spot, not easy! You might want to go to Witsands for less tricky conditions.
“SE in summer is cross-off-shore and powerful. Very quiet village with no surf shops so come fully prepared. Witsands close by can be very good with NW winds and is more for jumping with SE.”
