Orient Bay is the premier wingfoil destination on Saint Martin: a sweeping three kilometer Atlantic bay on the northeast French side of the island. Steady trade winds of 15 to 20 knots blow year round, with the reef protected lagoon delivering flat water for beginners while the open bay provides lively chop and surf for advanced riders. Schools, rentals, and beach bars line the shore. This is Caribbean wingfoiling the way it should be.
“Set up between the Bikini and Kakao beach bars for the best launch position. Riders must stay outside the 300 metre swim zone and should be solid upwind before venturing to the outer bay.”
