Praia de São João is a 1.4 kilometre Atlantic beach on the Costa da Caparica strip, just 15 minutes from Lisbon. The summer Nortada northwesterly thermal wind blows consistently side shore, keeping waves manageable while generating steady 12 to 18 knot breezes ideal for wingfoiling. March to May alternating swell windows offer more wave riding opportunities, making this a versatile all-round spot for foilers at every level throughout the extended season.
