Midsland aan Zee is Terschelling's main North Sea beach and home to an official NKV kitezone that stretches across one of the widest sandy beaches in the Wadden Islands. Southwest to north winds fuel solid surf breaks and a tidal current that gives every session an extra edge. From May to October a 200 metre exclusion zone applies around each beach access so plan your launch on the open stretch between them.
