Ouddorp is a long North Sea beach on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee, right on the edge of the Zeeland delta. The wide sandy beach offers plenty of space to launch, with consistent swell from the North Sea and a reliable south-westerly sea breeze in summer. For kites (twin tippers) there is a lagoon on your left!
“With westerly winds this is particulary a good spot, as the sand bank bends a bit to get side shore conditions. Strong west or Northwest turning to South West even better! Be careful of tides, but you will see at the beach. Best with 1,5 to before and after low tide. Park at the Nieuwenoordseweg beach access points. The beach gets a bit busier in July and August but there is always plent of room.”
