Oostvoorne's Autostrand is the friendly face of this stretch of coast — a sheltered bay-like geometry means far less wave action and current than the spots to the north, and you can genuinely stand up everywhere in the water. That makes it one of the few places on this coast where beginners actually have a good time from day one. The nature reserve backdrop adds a beautiful finish to every session.
“Watch SE–S winds — offshore drift toward the Slufter regularly catches beginners out. Rule: never go further than you can swim back. Well-organised schools operate here daily.”
