Noordwijk aan Zee

Noordwijk works in more conditions than you'd expect. SW winds are classic, but here NE and N also deliver a rideable cross-shore angle that most North Holland spots can't offer. At high tide with northerly winds, the current and wave interaction creates particularly clean conditions. It's a surf school town, but the outer zones are seriously good for independent riders. Many well known big kiters come from Noordwijk!
