Kijkduin is The Hague's real kite beach, earning its reputation on consistent SW–NW cross-shore conditions that work almost year-round. You're right next to the Zandmotor but still in full ocean conditions. Wave sets come in, the wind is reliable, and the beach has the right mix of facilities and space. Spring and autumn are golden: westerlies keep firing but the summer crowd thins out.
