Most people drive straight through Camperduin without knowing there's a seasonal lagoon tucked behind the beach — and that's exactly what makes it special. From October to April, when water collects in the dune hollow, you get a rare flat-water sheltered session with a full North Sea wind behind you. It's tiny, fits maybe four kiters, and feels like a secret spot regulars guard carefully.

Lagoon only usable Oct–Apr when water level is right. Check local Facebook groups for updates. Exposed open beach also works for wave riding in bigger winds.
