The sea-facing side of the Brouwersdam looks out over the Voordelta, a sheltered tidal delta between the dam and the open North Sea. Consistent south-to north westerly winds blow cross- and on-shore, generating short, punchy chop. Less exposed than the open sea but more lively than the Grevelingen side.
“Park along the whole coast. The most northerly spot is best for wingfoiling and windsurfing. All other areas also good with high tide, but with low it gets quite shallow. Then still good outside, or for kiting. ”
