The small beach near the Nes ferry dock on Ameland's sheltered Wadden Sea side is a proper hidden gem for wingfoilers craving flat water. The tidal flats reveal a shallow playground for two hours either side of high water. Keep clear of the Veerdam jetty, respect the tidal window, and you will find one of the calmest and most accessible spots on the Dutch Wadden Islands.
