Pointe Faula in Le Vauclin is Martinique's most visited wing and kite lagoon — a 400 metre sandy beach sheltered by a coral reef creating exceptional flat water ideal for wingfoiling at all levels. Northeast and east trade winds blow reliably from December through June at 15 to 25 knots. A large sandbank covers most of the school zone so you can stand to rest. Warm 28 degree water and year round sunshine complete the picture.

Local tips

Wingfoilers need at least 200 metres offshore to clear the reef and find proper riding space. Club Nautique du Vauclin and Airfly school both operate on the beach with rentals and guided sessions.
