Anse Michel at Cap Chevalier is Martinique's most respected wingfoil beach — a sweeping kilometre of white sand on the southeast Atlantic coast with consistent east and southeast trade winds. A coral reef 500 metres offshore creates a wide shallow lagoon, but the conditions here are more technical than Pointe Faula, with scattered coral heads and a slight current near the right side. Alize Fun has been the local school since 1988.
“The left side of the bay is the safest zone for beginners. Alize Fun is the go-to source for local conditions and rental gear — they know this spot better than anyone.”
