Fermoyle Strand is a spectacular golden beach within the vast sweep of Brandon Bay on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry — one of the most dramatic wingfoil settings in Ireland. Prevailing southwest Atlantic winds deliver consistent power across an enormous open bay backed by Brandon Mountain, with conditions ranging from manageable summer thermals to serious autumn swell. The bay stretches 17 kilometres and there is always a launch angle that works for the wind on any given day.

Local tips
Jamie Knox Watersports in Castlegregory is the local hub for wingfoil and kitesurf instruction and gear. Fermoyle is slightly more sheltered than Kilcummin on huge swell days. Spillane's Bar is the social base for the local watersports community.
