Fermoyle Strand, Castlegregory, Brandon Bay, County Kerry, Ireland

About this spot

Fermoyle Strand is a spectacular golden beach within the vast sweep of Brandon Bay on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry — one of the most dramatic wingfoil settings in Ireland. Prevailing southwest Atlantic winds deliver consistent power across an enormous open bay backed by Brandon Mountain, with conditions ranging from manageable summer thermals to serious autumn swell. The bay stretches 17 kilometres and there is always a launch angle that works for the wind on any given day.
