Sainte-Anne

Plage de la Caravelle, Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe

Wingfoil spot Sainte-Anne in Plage de la Caravelle, Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe

St Anne / Bois Jolan: This wide bay delivers something for everyone. The shallow lagoon just west of town is perfect for freestyle, freeride, and slalom sessions, while wave riders can head further out when the swell fills in. Expect a lively atmosphere in season with kiters, locals, and surf schools around. Easygoing conditions and a great spot if your crew rides different disciplines. St Anne / Calif: A fun little reef break slightly upwind from the main surf station. The wave usually offers one clean backside turn and works best with a bit of easterly or south easterly swell. Conditions stay fairly mellow, though the reef gets shallow in places, so keep an eye on your line. St Anne / La Digue: Probably one of the most fun wave spots around St Anne. Cleaner wind angle, longer rides, and properly groomed wave faces with side to side off shore wind. Expect playful waves around 1 to 1.5 metres where you can link multiple turns. Works for progressing wave riders as well as experienced surfers. It can get crowded during high season, but when the conditions line up, this place is seriously good.
