La Moule

There are 2 ways here: Le Lagune (flat) or Les Alizées (waves). The reef creates a huge shallow lagoon with perfect conditions for working on manoeuvres. Freeride, freestyle, it all works here. Just offshore, a quality wave breaks on the reef, making Le Moule one of the best combo spots on the island. Locals call this place “Mini Hookipa” for good reason. Powerful waves on the outer reef, strong current, shallow coral, and proper side shore to side off shore conditions. The wave usually sits around one to two metres but can get much bigger. Definitely not a beginner spot, but advanced riders will find world class conditions here when the easterly trades switch on.
