Lake Constance is Central Europe's third-largest freshwater lake, shared by Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Multiple designated kite and windsurf zones exist around its 273 km shoreline. Konstanz Wasserwerk on the German shore and Berlingen in the Untersee are the most reliably windy spots for kite and wing respectively.

Local tips
Kiting is only permitted in marked zones. Konstanz Wasserwerk is open 1 March–30 November. Always verify current permits and zone maps before launching — regulations change. Berlingen in the Untersee is the windiest section for windsurf and wing.
