Hanstholm is a large fishing port on the northwest tip of Denmark's Jutland peninsula with a beach that works in multiple wind directions but is famous for its west to northwest winds. Expect epic days here with strong winds that bring solid wind swell up to 11 seconds wave period. More wind > more waves, but still clean when its not too much from the north (which it typically is not). The town's lighthouse and WWII bunker museum add to the character. Hanstholm could work with south-easterly winds, but Gusty needs real locals to add that info.
“Hanstholm can be epic. Waves, very nice lines, up to 3m, clean wave riding. Bring windsurf, kitesurf, wing foil, and surfboard. You can do it all here, there is enough space, and nearby Klitmoller is great for other wind directions (south-south west, or north) and has good wave spots too. ”
