About this spot
Masurfspot is a windsurf and kite club on one of the Maasplassen at Kessenich, right on the Dutch border in Belgian Limburg. The lake is a former gravel pit with flat water and a sandy bank, and wingers use the same launch. The club has a clubhouse, toilets and a first-aid room and the site is still being developed. Southwest to northwest winds come across the open Maas valley.

“The entrance is behind a barrier, so check masurfspot.be for access and the club rules before you go. Basic board skills are expected on the water. The parking area is marked out next to the launch. The Dutch Maasplassen at Ophoven and Thorn are a few kilometres away for more flat water.”
