About this spot
Duinbergen is the beach between Heist and Knokke with two clubs on the seawall: RBSC Basis Duinbergen at Zeedijk 430 and Anemos Beachclub (VVW Heist) a little further west. RBSC has wing storage close to the water and gives wing lessons. The North Sea here is choppy with small waves at high tide and a wide sand flat at low tide. Southwest to north winds work, with southwest and west side-onshore.

“Use the club launch zone and take a day membership with insurance, as everywhere on the Belgian coast. In summer the bathing zones are closed to wings and kites during lifeguard hours, so start outside the guarded zone. RBSC is open daily from April to September. Parking on the seawall is paid; the seawall has plenty of cafes and restaurants.”
