About this spot
The Attersee is Austria's largest lake entirely within one country, lying in the Salzkammergut between Salzburg and Linz. A reliable thermal north wind — the Rosenwind — builds each afternoon, making it a popular destination for wingfoil beginners and intermediate riders. Kiting is not practised here.
